Titanium is an excellent heat rejection material and when used in a brake caliper it helps to decrease the heat transfer from the rotor and pad into the caliper and fluid. This gives you a more confident pedal and can also lead to your changing brake pads less frequently. Sold in sets of 4 to do one axle, they are a worthwhile investment.
